Getting started

If this is your first time using SmartyGrants, select Start a Submission and then Register here.

For questions about the application process, guidelines, deadlines or form requirements, please email DSD.SEED@sa.gov.au and quote your submission number.

Completing the form

• Use the Form Navigation panel to move between sections.
• Select Next Page or Previous Page to navigate through the form.
• Save your progress regularly.

Saving and returning later

Your form is automatically saved when you move between pages. To exit, select Save and Close.

To continue a draft submission, log in and access My Submissions. From there, you can open, continue or download your application as a PDF.

Submitting Your application

Before submitting, review all sections and resolve any validation errors. Once submitted, you will not be able to make changes or upload additional documents.

You will receive a confirmation page and email once your submission has been successfully lodged. If you do not receive a confirmation, your application has not been submitted.

Collaboration

Multiple people can contribute to a submission if:

• A SmartyFile Organisation has been created; and
• Only one person is editing the form at a time.

Session time-out

For security reasons, your session will expire after 20 minutes of inactivity. You will receive a warning 90 seconds before this occurs and will have the option to extend your session.

To avoid losing work, save your application regularly, particularly when preparing longer responses.
